How it works
Choose an audio file
Upload a supported recording. The browser must be able to read its duration; MP3 and WAV are useful alternatives if a particular codec is not recognized.
Choose speech or text
For spoken translation, pick Single voice, a target language and a voice. Video crop and burned-in captions are automatically removed from the audio flow.
Listen and download
Review the estimate, start the job and listen to the result in your library. Download the translated audio and the available text files.
When audio translation is useful
Use it for a recorded explanation, a short lesson, a personal voice message or a product introduction for an audience that speaks another language. Single voice narrates the whole translation with one voice. For an interview where you mainly need quotes and notes, a transcript is usually the more useful result.
Natural speech, not a forced duration
An audio-only translation plays at a natural pace. It may be shorter or longer than the source because languages express the same idea in different lengths. Original pauses are not preserved word for word, and the original voice is replaced rather than mixed underneath the translation. Billing uses source duration, not the output duration.
Example: a two-minute explanation
A 120-second audio file translated into one language in Fast uses 120 credits. Two languages use 240 credits. Fast+ costs twice as many credits and Pro eight times as many. Their three-minute limit and consent requirement apply before upload; available target languages depend on the selected mode.
What do I download?
The audio output is OGG containing Opus speech. It is the same audio format used for native Telegram voice messages. BUBLEDUB does not currently offer MP3 or WAV as the translated output format. Source and translated text are available separately; PDF availability can depend on the script. For flexible document exports, choose the Transcript mode.
For a text translation only
Transcribe the audio first, then add a written translation. Transcription costs 1 credit per 5 source seconds, with each written translation adding 1 credit per 10 source seconds. A ten-minute recording therefore costs 120 credits for its original transcript, or 180 credits including one written translation.
Questions and answers
Does it translate music?
This workflow translates spoken language. It is not a song-translation or music-generation tool. Clear speech without strong background music is a better input.
Can I upload a podcast?
Audio recordings up to two hours and 500 MB can be transcribed. Spoken translation in Fast is limited to 15 minutes; use an appropriately sized excerpt for that mode.
Can I translate a voice message in Telegram?
Yes. Send a voice message or audio to @bubledubbot. Bot inputs have a three-minute and 20 MB limit; the result is delivered as a voice message.
