BUBLEDUB / Product guides

Translate Telegram voice messages and circles.

Send a voice message, a video or a round video note to @bubledubbot. Get spoken translation in a format you can forward.

BUBLEDUB is a Telegram translation bot for voice messages, videos and video notes, also called circles. A circle returns as a native round video note; an audio message returns as a voice message. Fast supports 56 target languages with nine studio voices.

How it works

  1. Open @bubledubbot

Start the bot in Telegram and send a recording you have permission to process. The source language is detected automatically.

  2. Choose the translation

Pick the target language and voice. Where applicable, choose subtitles. Settings let you change preferences and the bot interface language.

  3. Forward the result

Listen to the translation, then use Telegram’s own forward action to send it to your contact. Forwarding preserves a native video note’s round format.

What happens to each message format?

A round video note is returned as a native Telegram video note. A regular video returns as a video, and a voice recording returns as a voice message with an audio waveform. Voice jobs also send the original and translated transcripts as text messages. This is useful when the recipient wants to read as well as listen.

Example: a 30-second voice message

In Fast, a 30-second message translated into one language uses 30 credits. Actual cost is calculated from source duration, rounded according to the job estimate. A translated voice message can run longer or shorter because it is spoken at a natural pace. Fast uses a studio preset; own-voice modes require consent and cost more.

One balance on the web and in Telegram

Sign in on the website, open your account and connect Telegram using the linking flow. A linked account shares its credit balance across both channels. Web top-ups are one-off packs from €4.99; the bot also offers the Telegram payment options shown in its interface. Complete the link before expecting a web balance to appear in the bot.

When to use the web studio instead

The bot is limited to three minutes and 20 MB. The web studio accepts Single voice files up to 15 minutes and 500 MB in Fast, and transcript recordings up to two hours and 500 MB. Dub Studio is the separate web workflow for longer multi-speaker videos.

A practical workflow for language differences

Record a short explanation, translate it and check the result before forwarding. Or transcribe a voice recording on the web when you need searchable notes. These are usage examples, not a promise that translation will resolve every nuance. Names, humour, accents and background noise deserve a quick review.

Questions and answers

Does the circle really stay round?

The bot returns a video-note message type, not just a rectangular video with a circular image. Use Telegram’s native forward action when sharing it.

Does Fast copy the speaker’s voice?

No. Fast uses nine studio presets. Fast+ and Pro offer your own voice with consent, at ×2 and ×8 credits and with mode-specific language availability.

Can it translate every message automatically?

The normal workflow is to send a recording to the bot and choose the result. It does not silently read or translate all your private conversations.
